Of course, nowadays we can communicate with partners and colleagues via video-calls and get a lot done. But sometimes, it feels really crucial to meet up live to experience other working environments, exchange broader strategic visions and spend some free time together. Only then, it seems, do innovative ideas and partnerships have the time to mature and arise spontaneously instead of in the strictly timed confines of a video-call. We are social animals, after all!
So, epiAge’s CEO, Martin Berlet, is just back from a jam-packed trip to Asia. There he met up with Epigenetics Professor Moshe Szyf and his trusted lab team, inspected the very high-tech premises and discussed exciting new ventures… Everyone appeared immensely energised by shared visions for epiAge – including game-changing new tests on the horizon!
But that was not the end of the road… Martin then flew to Singapore in order to attend the “Unlock Healthy Longevity: Supplements” graciously hosted by Professor Andrea B. Maier of the Yong-Loo-Lin School of Medicine at Singapore’s National University from Feb. 29th – March 2nd 2024.
There he was able to rub shoulders with some of the stars of the longevity scene – from the likes of Nir Barzilai to Brian Kennedy. Here too, the days were filled with fascinating presentations on the frontiers of longevity supplementation. As bio-age monitoring specialists, epiAge is obviously very eager to keep up with the latest advances in the healthy longevity field in order to professionally support our partners and customers with their interventions.
But for Martin Berlet, the biggest takeaway was that epiAge was recognised as a natural partner for innovative supplement companies. So, after taking Europe by storm, we are looking forward to tremendous Asian potential!
