Aaah, the call of the road… When it sounds, it is truly irresistible! This time, it was Elena Graetz, epiAge’s marketing and sales whizz, who travelled to Vitafoods, the world’s biggest nutraceutical trade fair held in Geneva from May 14-16th.
As usual, Palexpo was jam-packed: with 1100+ exhibitors from 160+ visiting countries there were ample opportunities to connect with promising partners and catch up with the latest trends in the field.
What makes Vitafoods so special is that you can not only source suppliers of ingredients, raw materials, dietary supplements and services but also meet both leading nutraceutical players as well as exciting new start-ups – not to mention gather cutting-edge insights from international nutrition and supplementation experts.
At epiAge, we are always on the lookout for the best preventative innovations as we know that prevention is the cornerstone of health and longevity. So, unsurprisingly, some of Elena’s highlights were attending the talks entitled “Body responses after food intake: Impact of gene expression and epigenetics” with Professor Jordana Bell from King’s College London, “Preventive medicine and longevity science update” with Michael Sagner, Director of the European Society of Preventive Medicine” as well as the panel discussing the topic of “Preventive medicine and longevity science: From cell to society”.
Elena came back from in Geneva so stimulated and energised by the intense exchange of ideas and exciting cooperation prospects that she also hopes to meet you at the 2025 edition in Barcelona!
